Small Office Design Tips

Decorating your small business can be a challenge, but it’s also very important. Your small business’s décor will set the tone for how your clients and customers perceive you and your company. Because of the popularity of Wednesday’s Small Office/Home Office tips, today, we are going to continue to offer tips for your small business’s decoration.

Small Office Design Tip: Add a pop of color. Whether it’s an accent wall or you decide on brightly colored furniture, adding color to your space offers a warm, welcoming and ‘happy’ atmosphere. Clients and customers will feel welcomed into your small business. We love this Uttermost Zilla Side table and we even love the idea of adding color via your lighting – like with these Z-Lites!

Small Office Decorating Tip Two: Position your furniture just a few inches off of the perimeter of the wall to offer the illusion of a more open and inviting space. Additionally, be sure to include some ‘floating’ furniture; all of your décor and furniture should not be pushed up to the perimeter of your space as this will make it feel more boxed in and smaller.

Finally, we stated in Wednesday’s post to be sure to include branding in your decoration, but in addition to branding, it should also reflect you and your employees’ personalities as well to ensure a more personal touch to your décor in your small office or business.
